Introduction to Compression Garments

This webinar is designed for the beginner – the therapist who is new to compression – but will also be beneficial to the experienced therapist who teaches or mentors ‘beginner’ therapists.

It includes an overview of the indications for the use of compression, the aims and mechanisms of compression, the precautions and contra-indications, what graduated compression is and why its important, how garments are constructed and how this influences garment choice, and the differences between custom-made and ready-to-wear garments.
