Interim Care Range | 100% Australian designed and made

Start compression sooner.

Transitional garments that bridge the gap while a custom-made garment is being made, so treatment begins sooner and continues without a break in care.

The Interim Care range includes adult and children’s vests and shorts, and gloves, all available in beige and black.

Key Features

  • Graduated compression. Made for everyday wear, from first fit onwards.
  • Highly conforming fabric. Soft and comfortable, a gentle introduction for patients new to compression.
  • Flat seams. Designed to reduce irritation on healing skin.

Why interim garments?

Starting compression

  • Comfortable introduction to compression
  • Supports transition to long-term garments
  • Supports increased tolerance for those with sensory sensitivities commonly associated with neurodiversity

Clinical presentation

  • Prophylaxis when risk of adverse scar outcome is unclear
  • Friable skin
  • Delayed wound healing in some areas, while others are healed and ready for compression
  • Compression for donor sites
  • Assists with silicone retention

Lifestyle and funding

  • An economical "third set" when funding supports only "one to wear, one to wash"
  • A more economical option where non-adherence is suspected
  • Sport-friendly: potentially less restrictive and less abrasive for extreme AROM
  • Messy play for children, preserving custom garments

Garment care

These care instructions apply to all Interim Care garments.

  • Do not iron
  • Do not tumble dry, dry in direct sunlight, or hang on a heater or dryer
  • Do not dry clean
  • Do not wash in hot water (maximum 40°C)
